Incoming

Material and components checked against spec before release to the line.

On-line

Sampling at each station; non-conforming units pulled at the point they appear.

Aging

Finished units run under load to catch early failures before packing.

Final

Full outgoing inspection; only passed units are labelled and loaded.

Every inspection record is filed against the batch number, so a unit delivered today can be traced back to its material lot, its operator and its test data. Non-conforming parts and finished goods are removed before shipment - not sorted out after a claim.
